GO KU!!! #1 NCAA Champs!!

These pics were taken Saturday night after we(KU) won the Final Four game against UNC!!! Josh wasn't in his KU gear that night due to attending the Priesthood session at the church. We recorded the game and watched it together when he got home. :O)

*sorry for the slobbers. Liam slobbered me as well as himself right before the picture....what're ya gonna do....you take what you can get sometimes.... ;0) hahaha

GO Kansas Jayhawks!!! :p)

On Monday night for the NCAA championship game against Memphis, we went over to our friends house w/ a lot of other law student families to watch the BIG game. It was SO crazy and during the last 5 minutes we kept jumping up and down and yelling and every time we did all of the babies started crying. They were all so tired and we kept them WAY too late! When we won, we didn't even try to tone it down! We were ecstatic!!! WHAT AN AMAZING GAME!!! We've waited 20 years to be the NCAA champs!!!

After the game, Lawrence EXPLODED with car horns honking, fireworks, people yelling and cheering, and masses of people crowding the main street of Massachusetts (Mass)-we later found out there were 40,000 people there....1/2 of the town's population!! We debated on whether or not we should go and in the end decided to live it up-it's our last year here and HELLO!!! we just won the championship of a LIFETIME!!! So we bundled the boys up in their stroller-they stayed asleep the WHOLE time miraculously!!!- and walked over to Mass to partake in the hysteria!!! It was SO much fun and people were a lot more courtious to us than I thought. One totally smashed girl asked us if she could babysit the boys. We uh....didn't think that was such a wise idea, so we just turned and walked away from the loon. :p) What a fun time and an awesome opportunity for us to be here during this GREAT time for KU!!! And the best part was that they closed KU the next day and so we got to spend the whole day w/ Josh!!! :p) Now that was cause for a true celebration!! :p)

Those boys are just too cute. It is amazing that you can get them to smile at the same time! How fun. I am amazed that you went downtown. Very brave and I am glad you have a memory of the big night.
