Silver linings are always present....sometimes you just have to use a microscope!!

There is good news that comes w/ this week and after the last blog post, I thought I'd better share them.

*Both boys have been attempting the whole crawling scenario for almost 2 weeks now and love to do the whole army crawl thing, but yesterday Liam finally discovered that he can cover more ground and go a lot faster if he crawls for real. He is REALLY all over the place now. Luckily we bought a baby gate at Babies R' Us last weekend. I really have to put that up tomorrow!! I know that Aram will be quick to follow!!

*Both boys are getting their top front teeth in and it is just too adorable!! I'll try to snap a picture if I can. They are looking more and more grown up every day. This mom is not quite ready for that to happen....

*For my exciting news, I have now lost 24 pounds and I am 6 pounds away from the goal that I set for myself to reach in May when we move. I am so proud of myself!!! And I do not say this to boast!! I have NEVER accomplished a goal this well before and I just can't believe how well I've stuck w/ it. Josh is really starting to see the results as well and it is really a GREAT reward to hear him say he's proud of me!! I know I can do it!!! I still have 61 pounds to go, but I know WITHOUT A DOUBT that I can do it!!! Thank you to everyone who has given me SO much support! You don't know how much you mean to me!!!

Well, this has been a pretty lazy rainy day for us, so I should probably at least go do my dishes. Enjoy conference this weekend and have a great one!!!

Love,
Harmoni :p)

Good job on losing so much!! That is so great! I want to loose as much as I can before we go to AZ to visit in June.

Hey, Harmoni! I'd stopped checking your blog since you'd gone private for a while and I didn't have your e-mail address. Your blog layout is super cute. Your boys are sooo cute. Crawling is definitely an exciting milestone, but life definitely gets a little crazier. And awesome on the weight loss! That is amazing.

The whole sleeping thing...I am probably NOT the one to ask. I am a total marshmallow and have never been able to let any of my boys cry it out. I know, I know...all the books say otherwise. I just felt like I was having a panic attack when my guys are in distress. So I have always just helped them to fall asleep through nursing or rocking or laying by them (which is what I do now). If you want to get some other ideas, I know there are lots of "sleep training" books out there, and I know there are many better ways to handle it than I did. I really like the "No-Cry Sleep Solution" books by Elizabeth Pantley. She has two books, one for the first year and one for toddlers. The library might have them. And then, Elizabeth Lyons has written two HILARIOUS books on twins, and I bet she would have some great ideas as well. It is totally a challenge to get twin babies to sleep, much more so than singletons, so I wish you luck! There are so many ways to do parenting, so I hope you can find something you feel comfortable with and stick to it.
